The word book periodical is a name that came about after years of trying to define Agenda magazine. The AGENDA team wasn’t satisfied with the word magazine for many reasons, that term was way too broad. Agenda is made up of three parts. The recurring periodical Agenda, the collector’s issues, and special editions; these are really curated books, featuring countless contributors, editors, writers, and photographers. Outside advertising has rarely played a role. The closest thing we could compare it to are TIME LIFE books. They are beautiful, filled with engaging content, and were created for you to keep in your home (or library) on the mantle, a book shelf, or a coffee table. The only difference is they come out regularly, much like a periodical . . . thus the term Book Periodical!
